The staff were superb. Knowledgeable and even set up my water/filter bottle for me. They demonstrated the self-inflating camping mat and how to deflate it for storing. I got much more there than I expected to purchase. Would definitely recommend.

Snow and Rock Hemel, brilliant. My son bought a pair of Atomic ski boots. The boot fitter, Steve was so good making sure my son had the right size and fitting . We were both very impressed.

Bought recommend ski boots from their “expert fitters” for my ski trip in February and had them fitted and moulded. After 2 days of skiing my big toes were sore bruised and bleeding so much so that I had to take a few days off skiing!! I ended up hating boots in resort who told me the boots were way too small for me and the the bruising was so bad I could lose my toenail. Now 3 months down the line watching my toenails go black blue yellow green I’ve lost both my big toe nails!!! (Just in time for summer) I told the “expert fitter” that they felt tight on my toes and their response was they’re supposed to when you ski down hill your feet move backwards. NOT good enough. Lost money on my ski pass, time skiing with my family and now both my toenails! DO NOT BUY YOUR SKI BOOTS HERE!!! Buy in resort where they are actual experts!!

Great service Bristol store
Very satisfied we a number of related interactions at the Bristol store re ski gear.
Including a refund for boots fitted just before Xmas, great ski equipment service and advice.
Both boot fitter and technician were great.
Woukd have got 5 stars if my boots had actually been dispatched from Manchester in internal transfer.

1st class service. Bought a Lindeberg Ski Jacket which was too big. So ordered a smaller size and sent large one back. Got notified of a refund the day after I sent it back then the cash was back in my account a day after that.

Post Returns Cost
Very vague re. return costs on website I'd argue and indeed, only offer free returns if delivering in store. No attempt to offer any concesion to this once understood and hid behind terms and conditions. Small cost in scheme of things, but meant I chose to return item rather than exchange. Shortsighted policy that means my first choice will be elsewhere from now. Future custom lost.

Do not buy from snow and rock. There is a reason there are so many 1 star reviews. These guys will try to upsell to the most expensive product but once you have bought they do not look after you. They offer a warranty but will not stand by it. From their pressure selling we bought top end ski gear for my wife and myself but i was very happy as the jacket was amazing - it should have been it was almost £1000. After a ski trip and wearing it a bit once we were home it needed washing. I strictly followed the instructions but the down in my jacket collapsed badly and so areas of the jacket had no down so was cold to wear. I contacted Snow + Rock and the jacket manufacturer for advise then followed it but with little improvement. I sent photos in november then as requested i returned my jacket to them in December and after lots of chasing finally in March they said there is not a problem and attacked me for it having some wear and tear and they would not deal with my jacket under warranty. My wife is in retail and cannot believe how poorly they have dealt with the problem. I have been without my faulty jacket since December and would have been better looked after by Penny's. Do yourself a favour and find a more honorable retailer

Let me down when I needed it.
Failed to deliver product on day requested. Blamed Covid, which has now been going for 2 years. Needed it for a holiday tomorrow. Now having to run around London trying to find alternatives. Not happy.
